i would encourage you to check it out and give us your feedback. and in the spirit of the acknowledgment that you made, mr. chair, of acknowledging the great work of staff, i'm happy to start out my report with special recognition awards for a small number of those staff that we want to honor today. so, first i'd like to ask our cfo ms. bose to come forward with lauren [speaker not understood]. lauren is a principal administrative analyst on the sf park team. she's been a member of that team since november 2009. she has led the planning implementation of difficult and complex parking policy efforts including policies related to city and sfmta employee parking as well as various neighborhood parking management proposals, all of which have been very popular. her general responsibilities include acting as project manager for on street parking pricing policy and implementation which is really at the core of sf park. she is the coordinator for the neighborhood parking management proposals, including all the technical work and outreach. and let me just s

no snow for us. nothing showing up on doppler too close to us. up here across new york and new england, again, 21 inches so far in boston. across much of central and southern connecticut, there are widespread reports of 30 to 36 inches of snow all across southern parts of connecticut. so we missed out on this one. there will be chances for winter weather coming our way. not today. windy and sunny and cold for today. another real cold start coming tomorrow morning. teens and 20s. bright sunshine early tomorrow. by early morning, predawn hours of monday morning as the rain comes in, there may be enough cold air for a little wintry mix first thing. predawn hours of monday morning before that all changes over to just plain old rain. so your saturday. for the rest of this morning, winds in the 25 to 35-mile-per-hour range and teens to low 20s for windchills. this afternoon, winds coming down just a bit but with temperatures only in the upper 30s it's going to stay a cold day. for this evening, again, bundle up. it's going to be a chilly one. tomorrow,

adams thanks for joining us. the commonwealth club of california celebrating 110 thanks for having me. it is the club that is celebrating the hundred in an 10th anniversary not me. years. why do you think the club has been able to keep its popularity over this amount of time. they have offices in san they started out with what they called study factions which were supposedly knowledgeable people who gained enough knowledge to do a report on certain topics. starting with water or agricultural issues. gradually it became more and more speakers and a social launch event which was the model that came through for most of the last century. so come the speeder element of it is what differentiates us from just about anybody. radio and television just don't have the time to go into the kind of doubt to have someone speak everything they know about a topic. the club is able to go in great depth which is what really makes a difference. i love to read this because it is a hoot. nine of differing views could discuss important
